August 1, 2010 will be a day that Alex will not forget. It is a day that he was surrounded by family and close friends; a day that he received the Aaronic Priesthood. In order to receive this gift he needed to be living his life in a worthy manner. He was able to pass the sacrament just following his ordination. It was so neat to see him feel how honorable of a privilege this is for him.
Alex truly felt wrapped in love!

Front row: Alysee Ditto, Kaleb Cox, Tyler Ditto, Chloe Ditto, Debbie Ditto, Alex Ditto, Mason Barduhn, Cooper Ditto, and Nate Ditto.
Mark Cox, Ryan Maynes, Ryan Andersen, and Birch were all apart of giving Alex the priesthood. (not pictured: Randy Baird)
Two of Alex's dearest friends were able to come too! I'm reminded as my kids get older how important good friends are--these are two treasures.
Alex became overwhelmed with all the love he was feeling. It was a priceless moment!

Not only was it wonderful to have the extra help in church but Chloe loved having the whole day with Grannie. This morning at church I looked down at Chloe and saw her diaper NEXT to her--not on her. Yikes, that could have been a disaster. I wish I could box Grannie up and bring her in my Sunday bag every week.
The afternoon was spent eating a delicious meal of Asian BBQ pork and fried rice and then lots of outside play. Cooper and Uncle Andrew were quite the baseball team.
Meet Alysee's twin--ever wonder what Alysee will look like when she is twenty years old? Just think of her Aunti Blayre. DITTO!!! ha, ha.
Grannie holds a special place in Alex's heart. He really looks up to her (though they were comparing each others' height and it won't be long until Alex will have to look "down" at Grannie.)
Thanks to everyone who helped make this day so special for Alex!
