Missionary Work: a poem, by Cooper Ditto

Today Cooper wrote a poem about missionary work in order to pass on a requirement in his Faith in God book.  Pretty cute!

Missionary Work

Stubborn newbies.
You want to change
But your family don't.
They say it's a do or don't.
Pay tithing,
Buy Sunday wear.
Do this for your Elder.

You want to get baptized,
Look like a member.
So you tell your Elder.
Rejoice! Rejoice!
You are clean.
Baptized, clean again.

Outer beauty attracts...but inner beauty captivates.

The following pictures are from a collection of portraits taken by the lovely Malia Rose Ditto, Alysee's cousin.  Her talent far exceeds her age of sixteen.  Alysee and her two cousins were lucky to spend a golden evening in Spokane together for a memorable photoshoot.

James the Mormon Raps in WA

When the kids heard that James the Mormon was coming to the Tri-cities to put on a concert they begged to be able to go.   With a little finagling we figured out how to make it happen.  The boys went with the Hartmans to the concert and in exchange I watched the three youngest Hartman kids.  It was a WIN/WIN!

At one point in the concert there were a few people from the audience chosen to be in a dance off.  Coop was chosen to boogie!!

The kids had the BEST time!!!  They got home at midnight and the rest of us were all snoozing away!
