AGW (all-girls-weekend) 2016

This Momma needed some ME time -- our annual AGW was a perfect.  The lovely Julia offered to host AGW in her beautiful new home.

This is where most of our time was spent - lounging by the warm fire and chatting while snacking.

One of the highlights of the weekend was being taught the true art of flood cookie decorating by a Cookier.

Then we went crazy!!

Blayre LOVED it and is determined to make this "her thing."

Debbie is always so gifted with any craft...she did not let us down.

One of the other super fun things we did was throw a baby shower for Jenna celebrating the upcoming arrival of Baby Boy Ditto.

Blayre and Annie had the cutest idea of having a WORLD theme.  I helped by designing a few posters to hang up.

We snacked on international goodies.

We could sit around all day and chat.  Oh wait, we did!

I think my conversation was boring Julia. :)

Next up...craft time!

Using these templates we cut out super cute fabric and then ironed them on onesies.  SO MANY CUTE ONES!

I think Jenna was pretty excited that her baby will no longer be naked.

Then we of course needed to have presents.  This guy is going to be dressed cute!! We finished off the shower with going out for pizza at MOD pizza -- pizza is Jenna's favorite (mine too!).

Um...what else did we do.  We also laid around and watched movies.

Several of us made super cute metal earrings.

We got caught up on are facebook friends

And we ate and ate and ate.  Debbie and Blayre made us a delicious Sunday dinner following church.

And then we did some more of this.  Sound boring???  Not a wink.  I LOVED every minute.

I am reminded of a talk from General Conference by Sister Naudald.  She says, "Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity."
